Ok here’s the scoop… the “Crossed Cork-Screw and Bottle Opener” Crest imprinted in gold leaf

For golfers that hold the belief that   the game is not over until;

  • the score is tallied
  • debts are settled
  • you have reveled in your triumphs
  • mused at your mistakes
  • and thrown back a “cold one”

you already a member of the Nineteenth Hole Club and didn’t even know it. Every golfer that revels in  the game and the camaraderie are automatically members, and to the membership…

we salute you.

Improve your Return On Effort (R O E) GiantSlayer vNews Social Marketing: The Good The Bad The Ugly…

By Nancy Andrews

“You’ll be left behind if you don’t do it,”  “It’s the future of marketing,” “If you’re NOT using Social Marketing… A pox will befall your family and you will be swallowed up by a bottomless abyss” Ok… I made up the last one ;) The point is – you’ve seen the incredible claims, scare tactics, and “Buzz” about Social Marketing… The claims have become so outrageous about the “streets paved with gold”; it has become difficult to tell reality from fantasy. This inaugural issue of vNews is devoted to the Good, Bad and Ugly side of Social Marketing. The “Bad” I hope you’ll forgive me but we are going to tackle the “Bad” first… there is just soooo much misinformation on Social Marketing; we need to get rid of the myths first. (see Video below) Then we’ll tackle the “Good”… yes, Social Marketing has its place… it’s just not a cure all for getting traffic to your site. Truth be told, unless you come up with the next “Obama Girl” video or you know how to “Digg” your way to the top, you’ll get very little traffic for the effort involved (I’m big on Return On Effort, ROE) Finally the “Ugly”… Social Media sites are already fortifying their defenses against spam and abuse…

Google Makes Life Tougher for Affiliates (what you can do to make it easier)   By Nancy Andrews

Many of you are considering or already have affiliate sites. There is a strong pull to go down the affiliate path: · It’s easier to put up an affiliate site · There’s no customer support involved · It’s cheaper than putting up an ecommerce site Affiliate site have the advantage of no fees to pay for a shopping cart license or rental fee and no credit card processor fees. I could go on but I’ve probably covered enough to make my point. Affiliate sites are relatively easy and cheap which is why so many folks select that as the way they’d like to make their living online. Now there is a potential hurdle that Google is placing in front of affiliate sites. On its own blog Google states that it;

Jesses’ (a LiveBlueprint member) success is one of the main reasons I am giving this as much time as I have been.

I analyzed his site and yours using semrush.com,seo-elite and market samurai to reverse engineer them and then I listened to your seminars to see how it all matched up.    And it did in a big way. It’s incredible that he got that site ranked in that market as seemingly fast as he has.

I’ve got ten affiliate sites right now that I am in top 3 Google positions for low to intermediate competitive keywords but now that I have a systematic way to get links that STICK I’m going for the gold. I’m also dropping my ———- membership. No need yours is so much better. Thanks again . . . Bruce

Before the launch I just wanted to thank you, for being a subscriber to GiantSlayer.net. You have been fearless enough to have an open mind (in short supply these days), and not take the dried up old SEO advice, that is severed up daily by the” internet cartel” (my pet name for guys selling the same advice 2 to 3 years old).

I have been laboring over the last 7 months putting together a program to put you on track to have a top ranked site. Not only showing you step by step how to make your site to go from “zero to hero”, but is a living handbook, that changes as the search engines change.
